His experience includes all facets of public accounting. His current emphasis is estate planning and taxation for individuals and small business owners.
Ann J. Rigsby, CPA*/CFP™/PFS A graduate of Stetson University and a native of DeLand, Ann has been a practicing CPA in DeLand since 1982. Her experience encompasses auditing, tax consultation and preparation, financial planning and investing, and risk assessment and coverage. She also holds the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner.
Parke S. Teal, CPA*/PFS A graduate of the University of Alabama and a native of DeLand, Parke has been a practicing CPA in DeLand since 1983. His experience encompasses auditing, tax consultation and preparation, financial planning and investing, and risk assessment and coverage. He also holds the professional designation of Personal Financial Specialist.
Ronald J. Cantlay, CPA*/CFP™ A graduate from Stetson University with a masters degree in accountancy, Ron has been a practicing CPA in DeLand since 1997. His experience encompasses auditing, tax consultation and preparation, financial planning and investing. He also holds the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner. He currently has firm oversight for Audit, Review & Compilation engagements.
Robin C. Lennon, CPA* A graduate of Florida State University and a native of DeLeon Springs, Robin has held a CPA certification since 1975, and joined our firm in 2000. In addition to audit and tax experience, his primary focus for the firm is business valuations, business formation structure, and exit strategies for owners and shareholders.
John A. Powers, CPA* A graduate of Stetson University and a native of DeLand, Al has held a CPA certification since 1987, and joined the firm in 2001. Al has extensive experience in auditing and taxation. He currently manages the firm tax practice.
Dianne Jensen A professional staff accountant with over forty years experience, Dianne is actively involved in accounting advisory and tax preparation services. She also practices in money management services for the firm.
Jackie North A professional bookkeeper/accountant with nearly thirty years experience, Jackie is instrumental in the financial planning/money management services provided by the firm. She is also actively involved in tax preparation services.
Denise M Goodall A graduate of the Pittsburg State University, Denise is a professional staff accountant with over fourteen years experience in accounting and supervision. Denise is actively involved in accounting and tax services provided by the firm.
Wendell Jarrard A financial professional with over forty years experience, Wendell retired from the banking industry as a senior loan officer with over twenty five years experience in the DeLand community. He joined the firm to assist with their focus on business consultations, with his primary emphasis in business sale and/or acquisition debt restructuring, and retirement funding.
Sonni Stover A native of DeLand, Sonni has extensive business experience and community knowledge acquired through her close working associations in local retail, insurance and real estate businesses for over twenty years. Her experience and diversity supports her professional position in accounting, administrative and tax services for the firm.
Linda Irvine A professional bookkeeper/accountant with over twenty year’s experience, Linda is actively involved in bookkeeping and payroll services provided by the firm.
Gary J Kathman A graduate of Daytona Beach Community College, Gary is a professional bookkeeper/accountant with over thirty five years experience. Gary is actively involved in bookkeeping and payroll services provided by the firm.
Sheila Brasche A professional bookkeeper/accountant with an A.A. degree in accounting and over thirty years experience, Sheila is actively involved in bookkeeping, payroll services and tax preparation provided by the firm.
Wini Somers As Office manager, Wini has full oversight of the firm’s administrative activities. She has been with the firm since 1996 and has over thirty years experience in the accounting, bookkeeping and office management fields.
Francie Achterberg Francie is the firm's administrative assistant. She has been with the firm since 2001
Lynn Gula As our receptionist, Lynn has been with the firm since June 2006. Lynn has over fourteen years of accounting and management experience.

Deborah Howard A co-founder of Financial Advocates, Deborah has a business administration degree from Western Carolina University in North Carolina. In addition to her nineteen years experience with Financial Advocates, she has financial experience with Dean, Witter, Reynolds as an investment manager and stockbroker.
Debbie Hogan Associated with Financial Advocates since 2001, Debbie is a Certified Senior Advisor. In addition to client service, Debbie’s duties include oversight and implementation of administrative duties for Financial Advocates.
